Qontrk Terms of Use

By using Qontrk, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the app.

Who we are

Qontrk is built by Arkayen Labs, the personal technology studio of Balaji. You can reach us at support@arkayenlabs.com.

What Qontrk does

Qontrk keeps the records a labour contractor already keeps: workers, sites, daily attendance, and cash paid out. It works out wages and running balances from what you enter.

Qontrk does not move money. It does not process payments, hold funds, or transfer wages to anyone. Paying your workers happens outside the app, exactly as it does now.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure.

A guest account created with "Try it out" lives only on the phone that created it. If you uninstall the app or clear its data, those records are gone and we cannot recover them. Sign in with Google if you want your records to survive a change of phone.

You need to be at least 18 and using the app for a lawful business purpose.

The numbers are yours to check

The wages and balances Qontrk shows are worked out from what you enter. They are a convenience, not a certified payroll or accounting record.

You remain responsible for paying your workers correctly and for meeting any wage, labour, tax or record-keeping obligations that apply to you. Please check important figures before acting on them, particularly while the app is still in testing.

If you enter another person's details, such as a worker's name or phone number, you confirm you are entitled to do so.

Fair use

Don't use Qontrk to break the law, to hold data you have no right to hold, to try to reach another user's records, or to disrupt the service.

Availability

Qontrk is in closed testing. It is provided as it is, without warranty. We don't promise it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, and features may change or be removed during development.

While it is in testing, please don't rely on Qontrk as your only record of what you owe.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit or business arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Ending your use

You can stop using Qontrk whenever you like, and ask us to delete your account and its data at support@arkayenlabs.com. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and we'll notify you in the app about anything significant.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
